This Privacy Policy explains how Petify handles information. Petify is a native desktop pet app and custom pet creation service that lets you upload pet photos, create an order, receive a Petify package, and run the finished pet on your desktop.

Summary

Petify uses personal information only to provide the app, process custom pet orders, verify purchases, deliver generated pet packages, protect the service, and respond to support requests. Petify does not sell personal information and does not use your pet photos for advertising or public marketing unless you explicitly approve that use.

Information Petify Collects or Stores

Petify may collect or store information you provide or generate while using the app, including:

• Account information, such as your Petify account identifier, guest account identifier, Sign in with Apple identifier, Apple-provided name or email when you choose to share it, display name, and session status.
• Pet and order information, such as pet name, selected style, notes about traits you want preserved, uploaded asset identifiers, order status, job progress, delivery metadata, and refund or cancellation state.
• Pet photos and generated files you submit or receive, including uploaded reference images, generated animation frames, package manifests, checksums, and downloadable .petify delivery packages.
• Purchase and credit information, such as App Store product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase verification results, credit balance, credits consumed for an order, and credits refunded after an eligible cancellation.
• Device and app security information, such as app version, platform, install identifier, device identifier, authentication tokens, refresh tokens, App Attest data, DeviceCheck data, request timestamps, and server-side security logs.
• Local app data, such as selected settings, installed pets, cached order state, locally prepared upload images, and account session data stored in Keychain or the app's local storage where applicable.

Pet Photos and Custom Orders

Petify is built around user-submitted pet photos. Before upload, the app may perform local image checks to help confirm that the image contains an allowed pet subject and does not contain sensitive content. Images that fail local review are not submitted as an order by the app.

When you create an order, Petify uploads the approved pet images and order details to Petify's backend so the custom desktop pet can be produced, reviewed, packaged, and delivered. Custom orders may involve automated processing, manual review, and manual or asynchronous fulfillment.

Your pet photos, generated pets, and delivery packages are private by default. Petify will not publish them, use them in promotional materials, or share them as customer examples unless you separately give clear permission.

Accounts and Sign in with Apple

Petify may let you use a guest account or Sign in with Apple. Guest accounts are used to keep local progress, credits, assets, orders, and deliveries associated with the current install. If you later sign in with Apple, Petify may offer to merge eligible guest assets, purchases, orders, and deliveries into your signed in account.

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide Petify with an account identifier and, depending on your Apple settings and choices, your name or email address. Petify uses this information for account access, order ownership, support, and fraud prevention.

Purchases and Credits

Petify uses consumable credits for custom pet generation. Purchases are handled through Apple's App Store payment system. Petify receives purchase-related transaction information from the app and verifies eligible purchases with Apple so credits can be added to your Petify account.

Petify does not receive your full payment card number from Apple.

How Information Is Used

Petify uses information to:

• Provide account access and keep your orders associated with your account.
• Prepare, upload, review, generate, package, and deliver custom desktop pets.
• Let you view order status, download completed packages, retry failed orders, or cancel eligible orders.
• Verify App Store purchases and maintain your credit balance.
• Prevent abuse, protect accounts, rate limit requests, and verify app or device integrity where supported.
• Save your app settings, installed pets, and local runtime preferences.
• Respond to support, App Review, privacy, billing, and delivery questions.
• Maintain service reliability through operational logs and error diagnostics.

Service Providers and Information Sharing

Petify does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate Petify, including:

• Apple, for Sign in with Apple, StoreKit purchases, App Store purchase verification, App Attest, and DeviceCheck.
• Cloud hosting, database, and object storage providers used to run Petify's backend, store uploaded assets, and store generated delivery packages.
• Generation, fulfillment, or support tools used to create, review, package, and deliver your custom desktop pet.

Petify may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce terms or policies, prevent fraud or abuse, protect users or the service, or complete a transaction you request.

Analytics and Advertising

Petify does not include developer-operated advertising tracking and does not sell or share your pet photos for advertising profiles.

Petify may keep ordinary server logs and operational diagnostics, such as request time, endpoint, status code, account identifier, IP address, app version, and error details, to secure and maintain the service. If Petify adds developer-operated analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud sync, or other new online services in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those services before or when they are used.

Data Retention and Deletion

Petify keeps account, order, purchase, asset, and delivery information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain order history, verify purchases, support refunds or dispute handling, prevent abuse, comply with legal requirements, and maintain backups.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, remove the related files, uninstall the app, or delete the app's local container data. Information included in device backups may remain according to your backup provider's settings.

You may request deletion of your Petify account data in the app from Settings -> Account Profile -> Account Actions -> Delete Account. You may also ask privacy questions by contacting Petify at the email address below. After an account deletion request is submitted, the account is placed into a pending deletion state and cannot continue uploading photos, creating orders, or using credits. Deletion processing is usually completed within 30 days.

Some records may need to be retained when required for purchase verification, fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, dispute handling, platform rules, or legal compliance. Local desktop pet files already installed on your device remain under your control on that device and can be removed by you.

Security

Petify uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information, including HTTPS API requests, account authentication, purchase verification, checksum validation for delivered packages, and Apple security features where supported. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so Petify cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Petify may process and store information in countries or regions other than where you live. When you use Petify, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations as needed to provide the service.

Children

Petify is not directed to children under 13. Petify does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to Petify, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Petify changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
